Some songs stay with you for a lifetime. “If You Could Read My Mind” by Gordon Lightfoot is one of those for me. I know every word, and I never get tired of hearing it.
It is also one of the songs that inspired my dream of learning to play guitar. There’s something about that guitar and the way his voice carries the story that makes me want to pick one up and learn.
A lifetime favorite, and a little reminder of a dream I still want to chase.
